Is the humanity.ai PhD fellowship paid?
It depends! Monthly stipends are determined on a case-by-case basis, and are renewable based on project progress and advisor approval.

Do I keep the rights to publish my research?
Yes. All thesis-related work can be submitted to peer-reviewed venues and included in your dissertation. humanity.ai requests co-authorship only when we make a direct research contribution.

What compute resources will I have?
You’ll get priority access to available compute (enough to run large-scale multimodal experiments or hundreds of lightweight experts in parallel).

Can the iCon platform be used directly in my thesis?
Yes. The framework, orchestration tools, and verification modules are released under a permissive license so you can cite, extend, and embed them in your dissertation with no extra paperwork.

How do I apply and how long does the review take?
