Timur Ryspekov
Founder, Inventor & CTO
Timur Ryspekov is the founder and CTO of Chariot Lab, where he leads the development of the company’s modular AI architecture. A systems-level AI inventor with expertise in hardware optimization, modular intelligence, and advanced mathematics, Timur holds a MicroMasters in Computational Thinking and Data Science from MIT. His work has been recognized by NASA (Space Apps Challenge 2018), Forbes 30 Under 30 Kazakhstan (2019), and the Israeli Innovation Authority ("Best Quality Innovation," 2020), and is protected by multiple US and international patents.
Evgeniy Usatov
Head of Patent Strategy, CFO, and Founding Investor
Evgeniy Usatov is the CFO and Head of Patent Strategy at Chariot Lab, bringing over 20 years of executive leadership spanning finance, banking, and e-commerce. Before co-founding Chariot, Evgeniy held C-level positions at Choco Holding and served as a Board Member at Freedom Travel (Aviata.kz). His earlier banking career began at ABN AMRO Bank, followed by senior leadership roles within the Halyk Group (including Halyk Bank, Halyk Finance, and NBK Bank), where he oversaw risk management, financial markets, and credit analysis. An early investor in Chariot Lab since 2020, Evgeniy has worked closely with Timur for over five years, guiding the company’s IP development, operations, and transition from research to commercialisation.
Alexey Lee
CEO & Investor
Alexey Lee is CEO of Chariot Lab, bringing two decades of experience as a serial entrepreneur, operator, and early-stage investor. Across multiple ventures, Alexey has founded and led four companies in e-commerce, fintech, and marketplaces with a combined $300M+ in GMV and four successful exits. He also serves as Group CEO at Freedom Lifestyle Group and as a C-level executive at Freedom Holding Corp (Nasdaq: FRHC), while earlier founding market leaders including Arbuz.kz, Aviata.kz, Ticketon, and PineMelon. An On Deck Scale fellow, Alexey combines deep company-building expertise with hands-on operating experience scaling both bootstrapped and venture-backed businesses, and has been an early investor in Chariot Lab since 2020.
